Studio Note #67: Nobody Cares Yet.

Three followers. Plenty of room to grow.

I posted something for Vendorfied today that I thought was pretty good.

Vendorfied has three Facebook followers.

Three.

There’s something humbling about putting real thought into something knowing almost nobody is going to see it.

But that’s where we are.

We’re building the product. Refining the offer. Working on the message. Creating the content. Trying to get in front of contractors.

And for the most part, nobody cares yet.

I think the “yet” is important.

Because nobody caring doesn’t necessarily mean what you’re doing isn’t worth caring about.

Sometimes it just means you haven’t earned their attention.

That’s a different problem.

And it’s one I can work on.

There’s no guarantee that eventually people will care. But they definitely won’t if I decide that two followers is evidence that they never will.

So, for now:

Nobody cares yet.
