Hang tight, things are still happening, just off the page.
If you've been following Studio Notes, you've probably noticed things have gotten a little quieter around here.
That wasn't exactly the plan.
When we started publishing these notes, the idea was to document the process of building something. The decisions, the mistakes, the small victories, and all the things that happen between having an idea and making something of it.
And for a while, we found a pretty good rhythm.
But something interesting happens when the thing you're documenting starts taking up more and more of your day. Eventually, you have to decide whether you're going to spend your time writing about the work or actually doing it.
Lately, we've been choosing the latter.
The Vendorfied Network is live. We're talking to contractors, building relationships, testing our approach, and learning things that no amount of planning could have taught us. There's plenty happening behind the scenes, even if there hasn't been much happening on this page.
We're also learning that building a business requires a certain willingness to change the plan. Sometimes that means shifting priorities. Sometimes it means putting a good idea on the shelf for a while. And sometimes it means admitting that there simply aren't enough hours in the day to do everything you'd like.
None of that is particularly glamorous. But it's the work.
Studio Notes isn't going anywhere. There are still plenty of stories worth telling, lessons worth sharing, and probably a few mistakes worth documenting.
We just might be telling them at a slightly different pace. We’ll definitely hit that 100 mark before 2027 though! 🙌
Back to work.
